J.C. is the 1st entry in our FEARLESS FACES series for 3 reasons: Our late nite launch coincides with J.C.'s Birthday on August 23rd, we promised the late & legendary Joe Bailey that we would never let his son be forgotten, and because he was hands down one of the MOST Fearless Faces to EVER step foot in the squared circle.
"The James Dean of the Hardcore Scene" is up there at the tip-top of Mortal Kombat Boss mountain. We're not sure that he feared ANY stipulation, weapon, or man-monster...at least he didn't show it with his care-free, fun-lovin' attitude. "Too Hardcore For A Gimmick" was a perfect nickname to describe J.C. as he just really didn't give a damn who you were or what your reputation was...he was going to out work you, out bump you, & out shine you!
Forget about "passin' the torch"...he was fittin' to "blow out your candle"...as he once said something very similar regarding none other than his East Coast arch-nemesis, "Sick" Nick Mondo. Who says that? J.C. Bailey...that's who.
